After rallying together in the late 1980’s former rallying colleagues Dave Maryon (left) and Ken Powell (right) have teamed up again to compete on the World Cup Rally and some other shorter competitions.

Driver Dave explains: “It's been more than ten years since Ken (co-driver Ken Powell) and I sat in a rallycar. Then the positions were reversed – he was frightening me as co-driver in his 300+bhp Rover Vitesse – I just see this as a way to get my own back!”...

Ken talks about the Peugeot 206: “We are very lucky, though yet another old rally colleague we had discussions with the Ryton Employee Rally Team RERT and they were keen to help if we agreed to use a Peugeot on the events.” “We can’t say enough about how helpful RERT have been, especially Scott and Pat, they let us have a weird specification car – in bits – and did us a great deal.”

The car is being built by Simon Galliford of GalRal, a noted Peugeot specialist, and a long time friend of the crew.
