The
Peugeot 206
Ken
talks about the car: “We are very lucky, though yet another
old rally colleague we had discussions with the Ryton Employee
Rally Team RERT and they were keen to help if we agreed to use
a Peugeot on the event.” “We can’t say enough
about how helpful RERT have been, especially Scott and Pat, they
let us have a weird specification car – in bits – and
did us a great deal.”
The car is being built by Simon
Galliford of GalRal, a noted Peugeot specialist, and a long time
friend of the crew.
Simon sums up: “Getting the Portugal car from
Peugeot was key to the whole thing – we are hoping to get some
assistance for the rally from Marken and Graycliff and overall sponsorship
from EXEL PLC - the global logistics company.”
